About Us
Day Academy Network was founded by Dr. Anthony Boyce Canada in 2018, building on the success of Tennessee Prep Academy. Our journey began at Lemoyne Owen College, where we captured multiple Prep School National Championships. Today, we are proud to operate several schools, including Memphis Day Academy and Central Arkansas Day Academy, under the leadership of experienced and dedicated coaches
Mission Statement
At Day Academy Network of Schools, we adopt an educational and spiritual approach to redefine the moral behavior of our youth. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, empower, and challenge our diverse community of young men, helping them achieve their goals and become globally-minded professional business leaders. Our Educational Enrichment Center enables youth to explore their dreams, aspirations, and career readiness. Additionally, we offer a health program that includes HIV testing and a bone marrow bank, promoting healthy socialization through intervention programs in Greater Memphis and surrounding areas. Our Motto is “GOD, FAMILY, COMMUNITY”

Our basketball teams have clinched multiple Prep School National Championships, demonstrating our dominance and competitive edge in the sport. These victories are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and strategic planning of both our players and coaching staff. These championships highlight our program's ability to compete and succeed at the highest levels of prep school basketball.

Over 15 of our student-athletes have been awarded prestigious college basketball scholarships. These scholarships enable our athletes to continue their education and athletic careers at renowned institutions across the country, showcasing our commitment to their future success.
Coaching Excellence:
Our teams have thrived under the leadership of experienced and dedicated coaches such as Coach Brandon Branch, Cedric Henderson Sr., and Lawrence Scooter Myers. Their expertise and guidance have been instrumental in achieving a remarkable record of 55-15 over three years, emphasizing our consistent performance and strategic excellence.
Player Success Stories:
​Memphis Day Academy has an impressive track record of developing talented athletes who have gone on to play at the collegiate level. To date, the school has produced three players who have made it to NCAA Division I programs.
